Security officers can provide a visible security presence, access control, patrols, visitor/contractor management, incident reporting, opening/closing duties and other agreed site tasks. The exact duties are set by the assignment instructions and risk profile.
Where the work is licensable under UK private-security legislation, the operative must hold the appropriate SIA licence. WRS verifies the licence for the activity being assigned rather than relying only on a CV or certificate supplied by the applicant.
We assess identity and Right to Work, relevant SIA licence status, work/activity history, references, experience, availability and role-specific requirements. Additional checks or qualifications are applied where required by the client or assignment.
Clients receive personnel matched to the site rather than a generic deployment. We agree duties and escalation arrangements before mobilisation and aim to maintain management communication throughout the assignment.
Tell us the location, operating hours, duties, number of personnel, start date and any mandatory site credentials. We will confirm what can be mobilised after checking availability and assignment requirements. We do not promise an unrealistic fixed mobilisation time before those checks are complete.
